An important update for PMS candidates in Pakistan! Punjab Public Service Commission has released the official schedule for the Provincial Management Service PMS second stage exams. PMS second stage exam key points
Here are some important facts about the second stage of PMS exams:
Compulsory subject exams: will start from January 18, 2025 and will run till January 20, 2025.
Optional subject exams: will start from January 25, 2025 and will end on February 3, 2025.
These written exams will be held in 7 divisions including Lahore and more than 21,000 candidates will participate for 67 PMS posts.

Only those candidates who pass the General Knowledge MCQ Paper/Screening Test in the first phase are eligible to appear in the second phase of PMS Exams 2024. Test
Background of PMS Exams
It was earlier decided that PPSC Combined Competitive Examination (PMS 2024) will be conducted in two phases:
Phase I:
Phase 1 of PMS Exams was held on Sunday, December 15, 2024. This first phase of PMS Exams consisted of a General Knowledge Paper based on 100 MCQs and served as the screening phase of the candidates for the next phase.
Phase II:
Now Phase 2 of PMS Exams 2024 will start from January 18, 2025 and it includes written tests of compulsory and optional subjects and after these written tests, the candidates will also be subjected to psychological test and interview.
Two-phase PMS exams decided
The decision to conduct the PMS exams in two phases was taken during the PPSC full commission meeting chaired by PPSC Chairman Retired Lt. Gen. Abdul Aziz. The meeting was attended by PPSC Secretary Afzal Ahmed and other members of the commission. All 2 phases of the PMS 2024 exams were proposed in this meeting and accepted by all the members of the meeting.
